Leaders Against Hate: Five-member Board will Advise Blue Square Alliance

Business, media, diplomatic and legal leaders join nationally recognized movement to help scale the fight against Jewish hate and hate of all kinds

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Blue Square Alliance Against Hate today announced the formation of its inaugural Advisory Board, bringing together five distinguished leaders from across business, media, diplomacy and law to help advance the organization’s mission to stand up to antisemitism and all forms of hate.

  • Brian Moynihan, Chair and CEO of Bank of America (Advisory Board chair)
  • Kate Barton, Global Chief Executive Officer of Dentons
  • Marc Benioff, Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Salesforce
  • Condoleezza Rice, 66th United States Secretary of State
  • David Zaslav, President and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery

The formation of the Advisory Board marks an important next step in the Blue Square’s growth as a nationally recognized movement and institution. Advisory Board members will provide counsel on strategy, help deepen institutional relationships, and support Blue Square Alliance’s efforts to expand its reach and impact. Together, they bring deep and varied experience to the organization’s work to mobilize Americans to stand up to Jewish hate and hate of all kinds.

“This extraordinary group of leaders represents the very best of business, media, public service and law,” said Robert Kraft, Founder of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. “Their engagement sends a powerful message: combating antisemitism and hate is a shared responsibility, and one that needs leadership. This group embodies the values of the Blue Square Alliance, and we are deeply grateful that they are bringing their experience, perspective, and influence to our mission as we continue to build bridges.”

“Bank of America supports the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate because antisemitism and other forms of hate must be called out and addressed,”said Brian Moynihan, Chair and CEO of Bank of America. “I look forward to working with the other members of the advisory group.”

Blue Square has built a nationally recognized movement centered on the Blue Square, the universal symbol of unity in combating hate; a growing coalition of partners across sectors and communities; and the organization’s Command Center, which monitors how hate spreads online and tracks changes in public sentiment and behavior.

New data from the Blue Square Alliance’s Command Center underscores the urgency of this work. Americans continue to be deeply unaware of antisemitism and antisemitic violence, even amid one of the most violent periods for Jewish people in recent memory. Recent research found that a majority of Americans are unfamiliar with widely reported incidents of antisemitic violence: 53% of respondents said they were not very, or not at all, familiar with the Bondi Beach attack, while in a previous data set, 56% of respondents said they had not heard of the murders of two diplomats in Washington, D.C., one year ago.

“The creation of this Advisory Board reflects both the urgency of this moment and the strength of what the Blue Square Alliance has built,” said Adam Katz, President of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. “These leaders bring unmatched experience from the sectors that shape what people see, what institutions prioritize, and how communities respond to crisis. Their guidance and engagement will help us grow our reach, strengthen our partnerships, and bring more Americans into this fight. This is how we build the kind of sustained, cross-sector effort needed to stop the spread of antisemitism and all forms of hate.”

Founded by Robert Kraft in 2019, the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate works to stand up to Jewish hate and all hate by inspiring Americans to become active allies in the fight. Through empathy-building mass media and social content, strategic partnerships, and data-driven insights, Blue Square reaches tens of millions of Americans who are not yet engaged and moves them to action.

About the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate

The Blue Square Alliance Against Hate was founded in 2019 by Robert Kraft to stand up to Jewish hate and all hate – a mission that is now funded by over 30,000 Americans. We uniquely reach unengaged non-Jewish Americans, moving them to become allies through empathy-building national mass media and social content. We partner and convene diverse leaders and groups to create awareness and understanding, and our Command Center monitors the digital landscape 24/7 to understand where and how hate is spreading and completes national research on this topic.
