Erasing Hate

Montreal activist Corey Fleischer, founder of the Instagram account @erasinghate, has turned graffiti removal into a movement against hate and antisemitism. Armed with a power washer and a phone, Fleischer documents himself scrubbing swastikas, slurs, and other hateful graffiti from public spaces—transforming acts of hate into moments of hope.

What began as one man cleaning his city has grown into a campaign inspiring others to take action. As Fleischer often says, “Hate has no home here.” Through his videos and community engagement, Erasing Hate proves that fighting antisemitism doesn’t always start online—it can start with cleaning a wall. Fleischer’s work has inspired people across the world to cover racist graffiti and earned an honorary Community Service Award from the Canadian government.

KhaDarel Hodge

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge joined Black and Jewish students at Clark Atlanta University this week for a Unity Dinner organized by the Blue Square Alliance, in partnership with the United Negro College Fund and Hillel International, using the event as an opportunity to listen and compare experiences across communities. Hodge participated fully in the table discussions, saying the night offered a clearer understanding of perspectives he had not encountered before. “I learned a lot today… just seeing their different opinions and different points of view on life,” he said.

Hodge noted that hearing students describe their upbringings and the challenges they faced broadened his frame of reference. “It gave me a different point of view on not just my life but everybody else’s,” he said. He added that the conversations made him more curious about his own teammates’ backgrounds and experiences, saying he hopes to bring similar dialogue into the Falcons locker room.

He said the discussions provided a different type of insight—one rooted in understanding how people define community and identity. “Seeing people’s different points of view… what they value and what they’re proud of in their community,” he said, stood out to him.

Hodge emphasized the importance of continued engagement across cultural lines. “I’m just going to keep trying to bring everybody together… so we won’t be stuck in one mind,” he said.
